Clothes is the second skin of human beings; the link between the heart and the outside world; the connection between the spirit and nature, it also shows the personality and taste of the wearer. Yutian Bian is dedicated to observing the collision of people, nature and art in life, because every observation and exploration of the life around her gives her a new perspective.
Due to the influence of sisters and brothers around, these experiences of playing with them inspired her. The children's curiosity and love for nature also triggered her exploration of nature. Creativity has been wiped out by China's pervasive cramming education, so that Yutian tried to explore the innocence and nature in this collection. Through the study of various children's objects and preferences and children's interesting behaviours such as tree climbing and fruit picking, she combined the nature and colour in the design to create a colourful atmosphere of childlike innocence. In the process of making garments, she stuffed children's toys into the clothes, and sewn clothes in irregular geometric shapes. She used the irregular shapes to make the clothes full of interest and aroused the viewers' feelings of childhood and innocence.
Another series <Decay> was inspired by the decay of the fruits and plants. They all have a limited shelf life. She got the decay condition through the observation and operation of a variety of fruits’ decay experiment. She tried to use various methods to make the clothes, showing a process of decay. She also tried to fit various vacuumed pericarp and plants together into a colourful clothing construction with these rotting conditions. The evolution of the whole dress shows a mouldy process. In the presentation, she covered the garments with mud, trying to show the process that all fruits and plants coming from nature before they decay and drop onto the soil, and finally return to the nature again.
衣服是人類的第二層皮膚,是內(nèi)心與外界的紐帶,也是精神與自然的連接,同時(shí)它也展現(xiàn)了穿衣者的性格和品味。卞雨田執(zhí)著于觀察生活中所發(fā)生的人,自然與藝術(shù)的碰撞,每一次對(duì)周圍生活的觀察與探索都讓她有了新的視角。
由于受到身邊過多兒童的影響,每次陪伴弟弟妹妹玩耍的這些經(jīng)歷和兒童對(duì)自然的好奇與喜愛也引發(fā)了她對(duì)自然對(duì)探索。由于中國(guó)的填鴨式教育,兒童的創(chuàng)造力被抹滅掉,所以在作品中,Yutian希望探索童真與自然。通過對(duì)各種兒童物品及喜好的研究,通過兒童爬樹,采果等有趣的行為,在設(shè)計(jì)上運(yùn)用自然與色彩的結(jié)合,營(yíng)造出豐富多彩的童真童趣的氛圍。在成衣的制作過程中她把兒童的玩具,積木塞進(jìn)衣服,把不規(guī)則幾何圖形縫上衣服,運(yùn)用自然界中與兒童有關(guān)的奇特廓形,使衣服充滿趣味性,引起觀看者對(duì)童年和童真的代入感。
另一項(xiàng)目《腐爛》她靈感來源于生活中的水果和植物。它們都有一個(gè)限定的保質(zhì)期,過了時(shí)間后就會(huì)腐爛。她通過觀察和操作各種水果的腐爛實(shí)驗(yàn)并得到腐爛條件,并嘗試用各種方法使衣服呈現(xiàn)一個(gè)腐爛的過程,并運(yùn)用這些腐爛條件把封閉與抽真空的各種果皮與植物拼湊成一個(gè)彩色趣味的成衣。這整件衣服的演變展現(xiàn)了一個(gè)發(fā)霉的過程,現(xiàn)場(chǎng)展覽時(shí)她在成衣下面鋪上泥土,嘗試展現(xiàn)這些水果植物從自然而來最后腐爛后掉落泥土又返歸自然的狀態(tài)。
